Prime Minister Evacuated Amid Security Investigation
Anthony Albanese was evacuated from his official residence in Canberra following a security threat. The prime minister was relocated from The Lodge to an alternative location on Tuesday evening while authorities conducted an investigation, according to information obtained by Australia.
Police Response and Investigation Details
An Australian Federal Police spokesperson confirmed they were notified of an alleged security incident at approximately 6pm.
“A thorough search of a protection establishment was undertaken and nothing suspicious was located,”
“There is no current threat to the community or public safety.
“Further information will be provided at an appropriate time.”
