A bus collision in eastern Egypt has resulted in the deaths of at least 16 people, according to statements from the country's health ministry on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred on a roadway connecting the Red Sea towns of Dahab and Nuweiba within South Sinai governorate. In addition to those killed, 28 individuals sustained injuries in the crash. Emergency responders deployed approximately 20 ambulances to the location to deliver emergency medical care and transport the wounded to medical facilities.
