Two men have been taken into custody following a break-in at a residential property in north Belfast during which a masked intruder threatened occupants with a knife, demanded money, and fled with cash and a vehicle.

The burglary occurred at an address in the Silverstream Drive area at around 09:10 BST on Sunday. A masked man entered the home where a woman and another man were present. He brandished a knife and demanded money from the woman before taking a sum of cash and stealing a car parked outside the property.

Officers located the stolen vehicle after it was involved in a single-vehicle collision a short distance from the property. Following this discovery, police conducted a thorough search of the surrounding area.
