Detectives have recovered suspected drugs valued at £2.4 million following an operation in Lisburn on Tuesday. A man in his 40s was taken into custody on suspicion of multiple criminal offences connected to the seizure.
Officers on routine patrol became suspicious of a vehicle travelling through the Hillsborough Road area of the city at approximately 21:15 BST. They stopped the van and conducted a search, which yielded approximately 20kg of suspected cocaine.
