Four individuals have been arrested on suspicion of murder following a fatal attack in Stoke-on-Trent in which one teenager died and another sustained life-threatening injuries.
Staffordshire Police responded to reports of violence on Brookhouse Road in Meir at 23:45 BST on Friday. A man in his late teens was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second man, also in his late teens, was transported to hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
Those arrested comprise two 18-year-old men, one 20-year-old man, and one 17-year-old boy, all residents of Stoke-on-Trent. The 17-year-old faces an additional charge of attempted murder. All four remain in custody pending further investigation.
