Public Mourning in Tehran
The streets of Tehran have been filled with large crowds as Iran continues its public mourning for the late Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Khamenei was killed at the start of the US-Israel war in February this year.
The funeral procession passed through the capital's landmark Enghelab Square, where mourners held up Iranian flags and red banners symbolizing martyrdom and vengeance.
The BBC's chief international correspondent Lyse Doucet is reporting from Tehran under the condition that none of her material is used on the BBC's Persian Service. These restrictions apply to all international media organizations operating in Iran.
