Energy prices in Guernsey rose by 19.0% over the year to June 2026, while retail prices index (RPI) inflation increased to 4.3%, according to a new report. The statistics cover Guernsey's RPI and Household Costs Indices (HCI) for the year ending in June 2026.
Which prices rose the most?
The fuel and light group increased by the most over the year, at 19.0%, compared with the year ending in June 2025. The tobacco group rose by 11.7%, and the catering group increased by 6.3%.
Which households saw the biggest HCI increase?
Households containing one or more retired adults recorded the highest overall HCI increase, at 5.2%.
