A 22-year-old British national has been arrested on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts in connection with an incident near RAF Fairford, according to counter-terror police.
The arrest took place in Westminster, London, on Tuesday as investigators continued their examination of the incident that occurred close to the airbase in Gloucestershire during the previous month.
This represents the seventh arrest related to the incident. The six other individuals arrested previously have been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Vicki Evans, senior national coordinator for Counter Terrorism Policing, stated that the investigation
remains a live investigationand that officers are continuing to
pursue multiple lines of enquiry.
The counter-terrorism operation has expanded over recent weeks as police work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident at the Gloucestershire military installation. Investigators have not yet disclosed specific details about the nature of the incident or the suspected activities under investigation.
