There seems to be an unintentional bird theme this week. Moira MacKintosh said this seagull was "keen to be the star of the show" as she took photos of the sunset at Nairn Beach.

Lee Shirreffs sent in this photo of the sunrising over a lighthouse at Aberdeen Beach front, taken by 15-year-old Mason Jack Shirreffs.

"The shipwrecked Clyde puffer SS Kaffir, which ran aground in 1974 and lies off the beach at Newton on Ayr, just north of Ayr Harbour," said Sandy McGrattan from Newton Mearns.

Robert Dailey, who sent in this photo, said:
"The sun was out at the weekend and a visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh showed the flowers beginning to bloom."

Janina Dolny visited an immersive light show at the McEwan Hall in Edinburgh, she said it
"has has the effect of being inside a kaleidoscope".
