Newly promoted Women's Super League club Crystal Palace have signed Tottenham defender Molly Bartrip for an undisclosed fee. The 30-year-old has joined on a three-year deal and reunites with ex-Spurs captain Bethany England as one of Palace's summer arrivals.
What does Bartrip bring to Palace?
Bartrip arrives with major WSL experience after five years at Tottenham, where she made over 100 appearances and was named vice-captain in 2023. She played in every game during the 2024–25 season and signed a three-year contract extension off the back of it.
The defender, who represented England's youth teams, was also part of the Tottenham squad that reached the Women's FA Cup final for the first time in 2024.
Palace have strengthened significantly during a strong window so far as they prepare for life back in the top flight after finishing second in the second tier last season to earn promotion to the WSL.
Bartrip and England add considerable Women's Super League experience to the squad, while Palace have also signed last season's WSL 2 top scorer Lexi Lloyd-Smith.
