Heinrich Malan Departs as Ireland Head Coach
Heinrich Malan has stepped down as the head coach of Ireland's cricket team, less than 24 hours following the historic Twenty20 series victory over world champions India.
The South African coach will leave as part of what Cricket Ireland describes as a "planned transition." A new head coach is expected to be appointed ahead of the upcoming five-match one-day international series against Afghanistan scheduled for August.
