England Withdraw Josh Tongue and Gus Atkinson

England have withdrawn Josh Tongue and Gus Atkinson from the Nottinghamshire and Sussex squads to manage their workloads. Surrey are also without Tom Lawes due to a soft tissue injury, which is a setback for him as his name has recently been mentioned as a potential England bowler.

It appears Fergus O’Neill will feature for Nottinghamshire after recovering from a rib injury. Additionally, Thomas Rew, brother of James Rew, has been included by Somerset for the first time in a County Championship match.
