Boxing Scotland are investigating claims against Jon-Paul Hynd after he was banned from serving at the Commonwealth Games over allegations that he headbutted a teenage fighter in the ring. He also faces claims that he struck another child with an unknown object during a training session at Beath Boxing Club in Cowdenbeath, Fife.
Hynd was appointed as a technical official for the games in Glasgow, but Boxing Scotland said he had been suspended pending an investigation. He has also been ordered to stay away from the club and related activities while the probe is ongoing.
Beath Boxing Club did not respond when asked for comment by BBC Scotland News.
