Detectives have released CCTV images of a further 27 Celtic supporters they want to speak to over disturbances in Glasgow city centre after the club won the Premiership title. It brings the number of supporters police want to interview to 83.

Two officers were seriously injured and three members of the public needed hospital treatment following disorder in the Trongate area of the city on Saturday 16 May.

Officers in riot gear moved in to clear the streets as bottles and other missiles were thrown at them.

Significant inquiries remain ongoing into this disorder which impacted communities, businesses, police officers and supporters.

Ch Supt Emma Croft, divisional commander for Greater Glasgow, said the force's inquiries were continuing and urged anyone who recognised the people in the images to get in touch.

The force estimated estimated about 3,000 supporters gathered after a dramatic 3-1 win over Hearts sealed Celtic's fifth Scottish title in a row.

The day before the game, Celtic urged its fans not to take part in an unofficial "title party".

Last year's gathering resulted in 19 arrests, injuries to four police officers and a massive clean-up operation the following day.
