Police have warned people to be vigilant of their belongings after a number of thefts and attempted thefts were reported in and around Inverness. The incidents were reported between last Thursday and Tuesday this week in the Inverness, Beauly and Loch Ness areas.
What has been stolen?
Many of the incidents have happened at tourist accommodation, where quantities of cash, electrical items and alcohol were taken. Officers also urged people to be mindful of opportunistic thefts where a door has been propped open.
What is police doing?
Police Scotland said it is investigating the incidents and inquiries are ongoing to establish whether there is any link between the events.
