Detectives investigating disorder in Glasgow city centre after Celtic won the Premiership have released images of 28 fans they want to speak to. The incidents followed celebrations in the Trongate area on 16 May, when supporters gathered after the club's fifth consecutive title win.
Bottles and other missiles were thrown at police during the disorder, and officers in riot gear moved in to clear the streets after colleagues, who were helping paramedics attend a medical emergency, encountered a hostile crowd. Police Scotland said they faced "significant levels of disorder" during which two officers were seriously injured and three members of the public required treatment.
The force estimated about 3,000 supporters gathered after a dramatic 3-1 win over Hearts denied the Edinburgh side their first league triumph in 66 years. The day before the game, Celtic urged its fans not to take part in an unofficial "title party".
Last year's gathering resulted in 19 arrests, injuries to four police officers and a massive clean-up operation the following day. Just days before the new Premiership season kicks off, police said extensive inquiries were ongoing.
Police have urged anyone who has information about any of the individuals pictured above to contact the force.

Chief Supt Emma Croft, divisional commander for Greater Glasgow, said the disorder "impacted communities, businesses, police officers and supporters". She added: "I would urge the people in these images, or anyone who believes they may recognise them, to contact us."
The release of the images comes as officers continue to investigate the violence linked to the celebrations in Glasgow city centre. Police said they are still making enquiries and want to identify the 28 fans shown in the pictures.
