Murder Investigation Launched Following Discovery of Man's Body
Authorities discovered the body of a 46-year-old man at a residence in Brymbo, Wrexham. A 50-year-old man has been apprehended on suspicion of murder in connection with the case.
Police responded to a property on Bryn y Ffynnon, Brymbo, Wrexham, at approximately 18:00 BST on Thursday after concerns were raised regarding the welfare of the occupant.
It was reported that the deceased had not been seen for several days prior to the discovery. His family has been notified of the situation.
A local man, aged 50, was arrested on suspicion of murder, and law enforcement officials are seeking information from the public to aid their inquiries.
Authorities have stated that a police presence will remain in the vicinity as investigations continue.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Evidence
Detective Inspector Rob Mahoney of North Wales Police issued a statement requesting assistance from the community, particularly from those who were in the Bryn y Ffynnon area on Sunday morning.
"We are also keen to hear from anyone who may have CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from the area on that day,"
"My thoughts remain with the man's family at this difficult time,"
He encouraged anyone who may have observed or heard anything unusual to come forward and contact the police.
