Police are currently managing a security alert at the train station located in the Waterside area of Londonderry.

The station remains closed, along with several roads, including the upper deck of the Craigavon Bridge. Authorities have advised the public to avoid the vicinity.

Additional road closures include Foyle Road, Dales Corner, and Simpsons Brae, according to police statements.

Impact on Commuters and Transport Services

SDLP councillor Sean Mooney commented on the situation, highlighting the disruption caused to commuters.
