Incident Overview
A crewman has died after falling from a cruise ship in the Sound of Mull near Oban.
Hebridean Island Cruises, the operator of the Hebridean Princess, reported that the incident occurred on Tuesday evening.
Emergency Response
The Oban Coastguard Rescue Team was alerted just after 20:00.
Hebridean Island Cruises stated that an immediate response was initiated on board the ship, and both HM Coastguard and Police Scotland were informed.

The individual's next of kin have been informed, and our thoughts are with their family, friends, and colleagues.
