What information are police seeking?
Sergeant Grant Hastie appealed for witnesses to come forward with any details about the crash.
"I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash, or saw the vehicles prior, and has yet to speak to officers to come forward with any information that could assist with our investigation,"he stated. The officer also requested that drivers who were in the area at the time and have dash cam footage review their recordings to identify any material that could be significant to the investigation.
"I'd also ask that those driving in the area at the time with dash cam footage review this to see if it has captured anything of significance."
