Rod Stewart, 81, has called off every remaining date on his farewell tour following a routine procedure to fit a coronary stent, according to a statement from the singer. He told fans he was already feeling better and thanked the medical team who treated him, though he must now take four weeks off to recover.

The cancellations follow a last-minute withdrawal from a scheduled performance in Ohio on 9 August 2026, which his team described as being caused by an unforeseen but minor medical procedure requiring prompt attention. Representatives told Rolling Stone that Stewart needed a full month away from the stage to recuperate properly.

I'm deeply disappointed to miss these shows and sorry to let my fans down, but I look forward to getting back on stage and having a good time with you all again soon.

Stewart posted the message via an Instagram story, adding that he was already feeling better and very much on the mend.
