Hull KR Appoints Nathan Cayless as Head Coach

Hull KR have confirmed the appointment of Nathan Cayless as their new head coach, signing him on a three-year contract starting from the next season.

The 48-year-old coach from New Zealand will take over the reins from Willie Peters, who currently leads the reigning Super League champions, at the conclusion of the ongoing campaign.

Earlier in March, Peters announced his decision to leave Hull KR at the end of 2026 to assume the head coaching role at the newly established National Rugby League team, the Papua New Guinea Chiefs.

Prior to this appointment, Cayless has been serving as the coach for Parramatta Eels' New South Wales Cup team and also holds the position of assistant coach for the New Zealand national team.
