When Are the Fixtures Released?

The Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) will publish the fixtures for the first 33 rounds at 12:00 BST on Thursday, 18 June.

Users of the app can follow their team by adding them to MySport and activating the bell icon to receive notifications including news, goals, and results.

When Does the Premiership Season Start?

The top-tier competition will commence on the weekend of 1 and 2 August.

Although the fixtures will be announced on Thursday, some adjustments may still occur to accommodate live television broadcasts. Fans are advised to delay booking travel or accommodation until the schedule is finalized.

Fixture round 33 is scheduled for 10 April, followed by five rounds of post-split matches concluding on the weekend of 15 and 16 May.

The Premiership play-off final will be contested over two legs on 20 and 23 May.

Who Is the New Premiership Team?

St Johnstone will replace Livingston in the Premiership this season after Simo Valakari's team won the Championship, securing an immediate return to the top flight.

St Mirren retained their Premiership status by defeating Partick Thistle in the play-off final. Consequently, the remainder of the division remains unchanged from last season.

Will the Premiership Have a Winter Break?

There will be no winter break this season due to the increased demands of European competitions.

Celtic are the only club guaranteed European football beyond the qualifying rounds, with a Europa League spot as a fallback should they not progress past the Champions League play-off round.

Hearts will begin their European campaign in the second round of Champions League qualifiers against Sturm Graz, while Rangers enter in the third round of Europa League qualifying.

Motherwell have been drawn against Havnar Boltfelag from the Faroe Islands, and Hibernian will face the winner of the tie between Vllaznia of Albania and Malisheva of Kosovo in the second stage of Conference League qualifiers.

Hearts, Hibernian, and Motherwell will learn their European opponents shortly.

Fans may also be interested in their team's fixtures in the Premier Sports Cup.

What About the League Cup?

The Premier Sports Cup is set to begin on 11 July, giving teams not involved in European competition just over three weeks before their season starts.

Many clubs have already resumed pre-season training and arranged friendly matches.

The draw and schedule for the group stage have been completed. The final is scheduled for Sunday, 13 December.

Supporters should prepare as the Scottish football season approaches.
