Bellingham to Start for England Against Croatia
Jude Bellingham has scored six goals in 48 appearances for England.
Bellingham is expected to start in England's key number 10 role for their World Cup opening match against Croatia.
There has been speculation about who would occupy the central attacking position following the rise of Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers as a potential candidate.
However, it is understood that England manager Thomas Tuchel is likely to select 22-year-old Bellingham for Wednesday's Group L match in Dallas, scheduled for 21:00 BST.
The Real Madrid midfielder is anticipated to be supported in midfield by Arsenal's Declan Rice and Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson.
In defense, Ezri Konsa is expected to start at centre-half alongside John Stones, with Marc Guehi likely to be named on the bench.
Reece James and Nico O'Reilly are set to occupy the full-back positions.
Harry Kane will captain the team and spearhead the attack. Anthony Gordon is projected to play on the left wing, while Noni Madueke is expected to take the right wing spot, replacing Bukayo Saka, who is recovering from Achilles tendinitis.
Predicted line-up: Pickford; James, Stones, Konsa, O'Reilly; Anderson, Rice; Madueke, Bellingham, Gordon; Kane
