Arrests Made After Edinburgh Derby Disorder

Five individuals have been arrested in connection with disturbances at the Edinburgh derby held on Sunday.

A 15-year-old boy was reported to the relevant authority as one of three people apprehended prior to the match between Hibernian and Hearts at Easter Road Stadium.

A 24-year-old man has been charged with threatening and abusive behaviour and is scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date. Meanwhile, a 32-year-old man was released pending further inquiries.

Additionally, two other men, aged 17 and 22, were arrested and charged following a pitch invasion during the match. They are also due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later time.

The match concluded with Hearts securing a 2-1 victory over Hibernian, marking another intense weekend in the title race.
