Two individuals have been brought before the courts following the fatal shooting of a man in West Lothian. Billy Watson, aged 35, was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency services responded to an incident on Harestanes Road in Armadale at approximately 11:50 on 12 September.
Corrie McQueen, 29, and Martin Patterson, 44, both appeared at Livingston Sheriff Court on Monday facing charges of murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice. Neither man entered a plea during the hearing, and both were held in custody pending further proceedings.
A third suspect, Frank McCarthy, 57, was brought before the same court on Friday and faced identical charges of murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice. He similarly declined to lodge a plea and was remanded in custody.
