A 31-year-old man has been brought before Perth Sheriff Court following the recovery of cocaine valued at more than £200,000 during a traffic stop in the Scottish city.
Police officers conducted the vehicle stop on Lamberkine Drive at approximately 20:00 on Tuesday, where they discovered the substantial quantity of the controlled substance. The man was arrested at the scene.
Court appearance and charges
The suspect appeared at Perth Sheriff Court facing charges of drug misuse and possession of an offensive weapon. During the hearing, he made no plea and was committed for further examination. The court granted him bail pending the next stage of proceedings.
