Four men have been arrested and two are in critical condition in hospital after violent disorder in south Wales. The arrests were made following a disturbance involving a group of men in Pontnewydd, near Pontypool, at about 19:15 on Thursday evening, Gwent Police said.
Two of the men arrested are in police custody. In total, three men were taken to hospital for treatment.
Specially trained firearms officers and the National Police Air Service attended the scene, alongside paramedics, the force said.
