Four individuals face court proceedings following the discovery of a substantial quantity of controlled substances in a vehicle in Aberdeen on Tuesday evening. Officers recovered ketamine valued at £186,000 and cocaine worth £115,000 from a car parked on Great Southern Road, bringing the total estimated street value to more than £300,000.
Police Scotland characterised the operation as a significant enforcement action. Two women aged 26 and 28, alongside two men aged 27 and 28, were arrested at the scene and subsequently charged in connection with the seizure.
All four individuals are scheduled to appear before Aberdeen Sheriff Court to face the charges arising from the recovery. The operation represents a notable success in the force's ongoing efforts to disrupt drug trafficking in the region.
