A man died and a suspect was arrested on suspicion of murder after a shooting in Clapham, south London, on the evening of Monday 8 September 2025.

Police and paramedics were called to Willington Road, near The Landor pub, just before 22:00 BST following reports of gunfire, according to the Metropolitan Police. A 25-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

However, a later update from the Metropolitan Police names the victim as Kyrone Moodie, 27, and states that the shooting occurred on New Park Road at 20:50hrs on the same evening, according to a Metropolitan Police statement. The discrepancies in the victim's age, location and timing have not been reconciled by police.

A separate Metropolitan Police update indicates that a 20-year-old man was also injured in the incident, according to the same statement.
