Heated NHS Debate Among Welsh Party Leaders
During the first live televised debate at the Senedd hosted by ITV Wales, the leaders of the six main political parties in Wales engaged in spirited exchanges concerning the National Health Service (NHS).

Labour's Eluned Morgan acknowledged the NHS's effectiveness for most people but emphasized that
"more needs to be done"to improve the service.
Plaid Cymru's leader Rhun ap Iorwerth expressed skepticism about Labour's credibility, stating
"no one believed Labour any more". In response, Reform's Dan Thomas criticized both Plaid and Labour, describing their interaction as a
"pretend punch and judy show".
Conservative Darren Millar characterized the NHS situation as
"a crisis", highlighting the urgency of the issue. Meanwhile, Liberal Democrat Jane Dodds advocated for increased funding towards social care services.
Green Party's Anthony Slaughter called on Westminster to allocate additional financial resources to support the NHS.
