Victoria State Budget Announcement
Victoria’s treasurer, Jaclyn Symes, is scheduled to deliver the state budget today. The budget is expected to report an operating surplus and forecast another surplus for the next financial year. We will provide updates as the budget is released.
Suspected Hantavirus Outbreak on Cruise Ship
Among nearly 150 individuals stranded off the coast of Cape Verde on a luxury cruise ship, there are four Australians. The vessel has been affected by a suspected outbreak of a rare virus, which has resulted in three fatalities. More information on this developing situation will be provided shortly.
