Belsonic has become a key event in the summer festival calendar, known for its extensive line-up of international headline performers. Organisers are finalising arrangements for this year's series of concerts, which are anticipated to draw music enthusiasts from various locations.

The festival continues to offer a broad spectrum of musical genres, including rock, hip-hop, country, and crooning, ensuring a diverse experience for attendees.

Last year, Ormeau Park in Belfast hosted over 100,000 attendees who enjoyed performances by artists such as Charli XCX, Justin Timberlake, and Snow Patrol. The venue will once again open its gates in the coming days for the 2026 edition.

The festival will commence on June 12 with the Farmers Bash, featuring acts like Boyzlife, Hugo Duncan, and Lisa McHugh.

How do I get there by public transport?

Translink encourages attendees to utilize public transportation rather than driving to the event. Although there will be no dedicated shuttle bus services, regular Metro services will provide connections to Ormeau Park.

For those travelling from the northwest, special Goldliner coach services will operate to and from Foyle Street bus centre in Londonderry for all festival dates.

Additional rail services will be available throughout the festival, departing from Lanyon Place Station.

Are there age restrictions for Belsonic gigs?

Performances by Josh Baker, Teletech, and Sonny Fodera are restricted to attendees aged 17 and over.

Under 16s are permitted to attend the Farmers Bash, Teddy Swims, Def Leppard, The Cure, Kings of Leon, Pitbull, and Michael Bublé concerts, provided they are accompanied at the entrance by a parent or over 25 who holds a ticket.

Accepted forms of identification include a valid passport, photo driving licence, government-approved proof of age card, electoral card, student card, and the Yoti app.

What time does Belsonic begin?

Gates open at 18:00 BST for all performances. Organisers advise attendees not to arrive too early.

The final entry into Ormeau Park will be at 21:45 BST.

Is Belsonic accessible?

Belsonic provides accessibility accommodations, including a dedicated car park for accessible ticket holders. Those eligible will receive information closer to the event date.

Upon arrival, attendees requiring accessible entry will be directed to gate 1, where tickets will be scanned and staff will escort them to the accessible platform.

Accessible toilets are located adjacent to the platform, and changing places facilities are available in the medical tent.

Event stewards and St John Ambulance personnel will be available throughout the festival to provide directions and assistance.
