Wilkinson Balances Motherhood and Management Role
Manager Rhian Wilkinson has acknowledged that balancing motherhood with leading Wales through the 2027 World Cup qualification campaign will require careful management.
Wilkinson and her wife, Emily Menges, recently welcomed their daughter Rowan earlier this month.
She expressed gratitude towards her staff for their support during this period, noting their significant role in assisting with preparations at the training camp.
"The [head] coach is only person and the players will have everything they need,"
Wilkinson emphasized her confidence in the team’s readiness despite her temporary absence.
Wales is set to begin their qualification journey against the Czech Republic on Tuesday, 3 March.
