Fulham Reject Everton's Offer for Harry Wilson
Fulham have declined an offer from Everton for midfielder Harry Wilson. The Toffees reportedly made an approach for the 28-year-old last week, but the Cottagers rejected the bid.
Wilson, a Wales international, is out of contract this summer and could potentially leave on a free transfer. However, Fulham remain firm in their decision not to sell him during the January transfer window.
Marco Silva Confirms Wilson Will Stay
Fulham head coach Marco Silva has emphasized the club's stance on Wilson's future.
"There is zero chance"he will be sold in January, Silva stated. The club is prioritizing securing Wilson's long-term future.
Wilson initially joined Fulham on loan from Liverpool in July 2021. Since then, he has made 173 appearances, scored 34 goals, and provided 43 assists for the club.
Contract Talks and Future Considerations
As reported by in January, discussions regarding a contract extension for Wilson are currently paused due to transfer interest. It is also understood that Wilson prefers clarity on the future of Marco Silva, who is also out of contract this summer, before committing to a new deal.
