Billingham Catholic Club Considers Name Change for World Cup Final
Bar manager Sean Rowbottom anticipated a full house at Billingham Catholic Club for the upcoming World Cup semi-final match.
The social club located in Stockton-on-Tees is considering renaming itself Bellingham Catholic Club, contingent on England's success in the World Cup semi-final.
The club's current name differs by just one letter from Jude Bellingham, the standout player who has significantly advanced England's campaign by scoring six goals in the tournament so far.

Plans for a New Sign Ahead of the Final
Sean Rowbottom, the bar manager, stated that if England defeats Argentina on Wednesday, he intends to promptly contact sign writers to create a new sign in time for the final match against Spain scheduled for Sunday.
He added that if the sign writers cannot deliver in time, the alternative would be to personally paint the new name on the club's exterior using a ladder and paint.
"Getting a new sign made up in three days would be a challenge, but one that I'm sure we could rise to," Rowbottom told BBC Radio Tees.
Match Day Expectations and Previous Experience
Rowbottom expected the club to be at full capacity for the semi-final match against Argentina.
Reflecting on previous matches, he said:
"We stayed open for the 02:00 BST kick-off against Mexico, which was an experience, one I'm not keen to repeat any time soon. But the club was fairly busy for it, which is what we needed."
Engaging Fans with Match-Time Activities
To enhance the atmosphere during games, the club has been organizing a pass-the-hat game. Participants pay £1 to join, and the individual wearing the designated garment at both half-time and full-time wins the accumulated pot.
Upcoming Semi-Final Details
England's semi-final match against Argentina is scheduled to commence at 20:00 BST on Wednesday.
