Two individuals were arrested following a violent altercation among football fans shortly after Arsenal's defeat in the Champions League final.

Suffolk Police responded to reports of a "large fight" at Ipswich Waterfront around 20:07 BST on Saturday. The incident reportedly resulted in one person sustaining injuries.

Social media footage captured several men engaged in physical violence, including punching and kicking, with one man appearing unconscious on the ground as bystanders in a nearby bar observed the scene.

Another video showed a group of men seemingly provoking Arsenal supporters after the team lost 4-3 on penalties to Paris Saint-Germain.

Police Update and Arrests

On Monday, a Suffolk Police spokesperson provided an update, confirming that both individuals were arrested on suspicion of affray. Additionally, one of the arrested persons faced suspicion of possession of a class B drug.

Both suspects have been released on bail pending further investigation, with bail conditions extending until July.
