Tributes paid to 25-year-old who died near Royal Welsh showground

The family of a man who died at a campsite near the Royal Welsh showground have said he will be a "huge loss". Dewi Evans died after paramedics were called to Penmaenau Farm campsite in Llanelwedd, Powys, on Saturday night.

The family of the 25-year-old, from Llanfihangel Glyn Myfyr, in Conwy county, said he was a "beloved and dear son, brother and grandson" who would be "a huge loss to the family and community in Uwchaled".

"The family and community would appreciate privacy at this difficult time."

Three men were arrested on suspicion drugs offences after Evans' death. Wales' biggest annual agricultural festival, the Royal Welsh Show, got under way on Monday.
