Police are appealing for information after the attempted murder of two police officers in South Lanarkshire on Saturday. The incident happened in Glen Avenue in Larkhall at about 14:10 while the officers were carrying out inquiries at a property.
A white Renault Traffic van was deliberately driven at them, leaving the two male officers, aged 43 and 41, with serious injuries. One officer has since been released from hospital, while the other remains in hospital.
