A man has been taken to hospital after he was found lying on a street in Londonderry with an unexplained "significant head injury". Police said the man was discovered in the Creggan area of Derry on Thursday morning and believe he may have been on the ground for some time before he was found.
Officers were called to Benevenagh Gardens at 06:14 BST, where the man was being treated by Northern Ireland Ambulance service staff. He was then taken to hospital for treatment, and police said it is still unclear how he came to be injured.
