Princess Eugenie has given birth to a baby girl at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal. The baby was born on Monday at 18:20 BST, weighing 6lbs 9oz.
What has the family said?
This is Princess Eugenie's third child with her husband, Jack Brooksbank, following the births of her sons August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, who was born in 2021, and Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, who was born in 2023.
Their Majesties The King and Queen and other members of The Royal Family were delighted to be informed of the news.
In a post on Instagram, the princess wrote:
Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank!! We are beyond in love with our girlie.
They are yet to announce a name.
What does the new arrival mean for the line of succession?
The new arrival - who will not be an HRH - will be 15th in line to the throne, moving ahead of their great-uncle the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward.
Where does the family live?
The couple live between Portugal and Ivy Cottage, in the grounds of Kensington Palace.
When was the pregnancy announced?
They announced Princess Eugenie's pregnancy in May. She posted a photograph of her young sons holding a baby scan with the caption:
