Online Banking Access Issues Reported by Lloyds Banking Group Customers

Thousands of customers of Lloyds Banking Group have experienced difficulties accessing online banking services. According to the outage monitoring website Downdetector, user reports of problems began around 1115 BST.

Lloyds Banking Group identifies itself as the UK's largest retail and commercial banking provider, serving 26 million customers. The group owns Lloyds Bank, Halifax, and Bank of Scotland. Representatives from the banking group have been contacted for comment regarding the outage.

In a previous incident in March, nearly half a million customers were affected when an IT glitch caused some to see other customers' transactions or have their own data shared inadvertently.
