Tributes to Owain Rhys Davies
The family of Owain Rhys Davies, known for his role in Twin Peaks, have expressed their condolences following the actor's sudden passing at the age of 44.
Davies, who was born in Cardiff, passed away "suddenly, naturally, and peacefully," according to a statement from his brother Rhodri on Instagram.
"I am incredibly proud of my brother and we know that this loss will be felt by a great many people, and we take comfort in knowing how loved he was," Rhodri said.
Rhodri also mentioned that there are still "questions that remain unanswered regarding the circumstances of his death," while requesting privacy for the family during this time.
Career Highlights
Owain Rhys Davies was best recognized for his portrayal of Agent Wilson in the 2017 reboot of Twin Peaks, the revival of the acclaimed 1990s series created by David Lynch and Mark Frost.
In addition to Twin Peaks, Davies appeared in the Netflix science fiction drama The OA, alongside Brit Marling and Jason Isaacs. His film credits include roles in Alice Through The Looking Glass and the horror satire A Serial Killer's Guide To Life.
