Royal Appearance at The Tempest
King Charles III made a surprise visit to a sold-out performance of the Royal Shakespeare Company's (RSC) production of The Tempest.
The monarch was warmly welcomed with cheers from the audience upon his arrival at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, where he took his seat in the fully occupied auditorium.

Backstage Tour and Costume Department Visit
Following his arrival, the King toured the RSC's costume department backstage. He praised the craftsmanship of the costumes, describing the pieces as
"brilliant". During the visit, he was observed sharing a laugh while examining a replica crown.

The RSC's co-artistic directors, Daniel Evans and Tamara Harvey, expressed their appreciation for the King's visit, calling it
"a tremendous honour". The production is directed by Sir Richard Eyre and features Sir Kenneth Branagh in the role of Prospero.

Tamara Harvey, who was seated next to the King during the play, noted his enthusiasm for the theatre. She remarked that he was
