Higgins Advances to Welsh Open Semi-Finals
John Higgins, a five-time Welsh Open champion, is progressing towards a potential sixth title after a commanding quarter-final victory over Zhou Yuelong. Higgins secured three early frames in a closely contested manner before delivering breaks of 75 and 67 to complete a 5-0 win.
In the semi-finals, Higgins will face Jack Lisowski, who defeated 2017 champion Stuart Bingham 5-2. Lisowski surged to a 4-0 lead in Llandudno, including breaks of 70 and 118, before Bingham claimed two frames. However, Lisowski maintained his composure to close out the match. Lisowski claimed his first ranking title at the Northern Ireland Open in October.
Other Semi-Finalists and Match Details
