Higgins Advances to Welsh Open Semi-Finals

John Higgins, a five-time Welsh Open champion, is progressing towards a potential sixth title after a commanding quarter-final victory over Zhou Yuelong. Higgins secured three early frames in a closely contested manner before delivering breaks of 75 and 67 to complete a 5-0 win.

In the semi-finals, Higgins will face Jack Lisowski, who defeated 2017 champion Stuart Bingham 5-2. Lisowski surged to a 4-0 lead in Llandudno, including breaks of 70 and 118, before Bingham claimed two frames. However, Lisowski maintained his composure to close out the match.
