Jade Jones Secures Second Boxing Victory

Two-time Olympic taekwondo champion Jade Jones continued her transition into boxing by delivering a dominant performance against Argentina's combat sports influencer Federikita in her second professional boxing match.

The bout took place on the undercard of the Tommy Fury versus former World's Strongest Man Eddie Hall event at Manchester's AO Arena. Jones, aged 33, secured her second consecutive win by stopping Federikita within the second round.

Following her latest victory, Jones appears to be scheduled to face Hungarian MMA fighter Sheena Bathory, who earlier in the evening defeated Tina Snows.

Jones Reflects on Her Boxing Journey

Speaking to Talksport after the fight, Jones acknowledged the challenges of competing in a new sport.

"Different sport from what I've competed in my whole life, it's still scary," Jones said.
"I'd just like to say massive respect to my opponent (Federikita)."
"She deserves a massive clap. It was a little bit more difficult, but I'm chuffed."
"I was a little bit more nervous, the pressure was on but I've got the best supporters. What an atmosphere."
