Tartan Army's Presence Felt in Miami
It feels as though the entirety of Scotland has gathered in Miami.
Many, myself included, believed that Boston showcased the Tartan Army at its finest, and there was a subtle concern that 'The Magic City' might not live up to that standard.
Following Monday's march to the Miami Marlins game—since baseball has become the current focus—Tuesday saw the Tartan Army making their way down the beach accompanied by songs such as
'No Scotland, No Party', 'Yes Sir, I Can Boogie' and 'We'll Be Coming'.
Indeed, they have long since arrived.
The mile-long march from Lummus Park to Ocean Drive was spectacular, reminiscent of the atmosphere in Cologne two years ago during Euro 2024.
Who claimed that experience could not be surpassed?
Locals are embracing the vibrant atmosphere and the Scottish accent, enjoying the influx of men in kilts who frequently comment on the heat.
There is genuinely a once-in-a-lifetime feeling to this event—being in America, losing track of the days, surrounded by a group of people from home.
All of this is happening even before considering the football.
