Hurzeler Commits to Brighton with New Long-Term Deal

Fabian Hurzeler, who took over as Brighton's head coach in June 2024 replacing Roberto de Zerbi, has agreed to a new long-term contract with the club.

The 33-year-old German coach currently has 12 months remaining on his existing contract at the Amex Stadium but will extend his tenure on the south coast by signing the new terms.

Hurzeler joined Brighton at the beginning of last season after a successful managerial period at St Pauli.

Brighton, nicknamed the Seagulls, are currently placed eighth in the Premier League standings with 50 points and three matches left to play. The club is aiming to secure European football for only the second time in its history.
