Bukayo Saka Commits Future to Arsenal
England forward Bukayo Saka has expressed his ambition to "win everything" with Arsenal after signing a new long-term contract with the club.
The 24-year-old winger has reportedly agreed to a five-season deal extending until 2030. Sources have informed that the contract will make him Arsenal's highest-paid player, earning over £300,000 per week.
Saka's contract renewal is a significant boost for Arsenal as they compete on four fronts this season, seeking their first silverware since 2020.
"I believe the next few years are going to be the years that we get over the line, and we're able to win trophies and make history for this club," Saka said.
"We're back where we belong, fighting for everything."
Previously, Saka had signed a contract in 2023 that was due to expire in 2027. Negotiations for the new deal have been ongoing for nearly a year, with Saka verbally committing to the club in January.
Having joined Arsenal's academy at the age of eight, Saka will have been a professional at the club for 13 years if he completes his new contract.
"I just want to do everything to help bring glory back to this club," he added. "I just hope [the fans] see that, and hopefully one day we'll be able to celebrate that achievement together.
"I want to be able to look back and see a kid that started aged seven, eight years old on trial for Arsenal and then went the whole way to win every trophy that there is available to win.
"That's the legacy that I want to create, and when I reflect at the end of my career, that's what I want to see. That would make me happy."
Arsenal's Strategy to Retain Key Players
Saka's contract extension is part of Arsenal's broader strategy to secure their core squad with long-term deals as they pursue the Premier League title.
Other key players such as William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Ethan Nwaneri, and Myles Lewis-Skelly also signed new long-term contracts during the summer.
In the current season, Saka has scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 34 appearances for Arsenal, including the opening goal in their recent 2-2 draw against Wolves.
He made his first-team debut at 17 in 2018 after progressing through Arsenal's academy and has since made 218 Premier League appearances, scoring 58 goals.
Saka is currently 115 Premier League appearances behind Ray Parlour's club record of 333 appearances.
Internationally, Saka has scored 14 goals in 48 appearances for England and is expected to be included in Thomas Tuchel's squad for the World Cup starting in June.
Arsenal currently lead the Premier League by five points and will face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final on 22 March. The club has also advanced to the last 16 of the Champions League and the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Analysis: Saka Deal as Crucial as Any Major Signing
The agreement with Saka is considered more important than Arsenal's £250m expenditure on eight new players during the summer transfer window.
Saka's influence on the pitch, his connection with supporters, and his journey from the academy make his role irreplaceable.
His new contract ensures he remains at the club during the peak years of his career. After several seasons producing numbers comparable to elite wingers globally, Arsenal stands to benefit from his continued development.
The remainder of this season is critical for Saka as he aims to help Arsenal secure a major trophy for the first time since their 2020 FA Cup victory.
Manager Mikel Arteta relies heavily on Saka, who is instrumental in most of Arsenal's attacking play down the right flank.
Additionally, Saka faces an important summer with England at the World Cup, where fans hope his club success will translate to international achievements on football's biggest stage.
