Brazilian forward Rodrygo, who plays for Real Madrid, will be sidelined for the upcoming World Cup following a significant knee injury. The club confirmed that the 25-year-old has suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and a rupture of the lateral meniscus in his right leg.

"He has been diagnosed with a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and a rupture of the lateral meniscus of his right leg,"

Real Madrid stated.
